Kenya has a very controversial first lady. Lucy Kibaki, Kenya's first lady, called on students to abstain from sex inorder to avoid HIV.
"Those who are still in school have no business having access to condoms. Those who are in university and are not married have no business having condoms in their halls of residence," she told schoolgirls in the capital, Nairobi, on Thursday evening.
HIV/AIDS activists were shocked by her advice because they know that kids as young as 15 are already sexually active.
Some 1.5m Kenyans have died of Aids or HIV-related diseases since 1984, reports the AFP news agency.
Wow! How many Filipinos have died of HIV/AIDS? Not even half of that number. But that's not far from happening here if we keep being ignorant and prude. There is nothing wrong with abstinence, IF people can practice control. Can we practice control? We are a country of Roman Catholic fornicators. Hehehehe.

At least two-thirds of our miseries spring from human stupidity, human malice and those great motivators and justifiers of malice and stupidity: idealism, dogmatism and proselytizing zeal on behalf of religous or political ideas.
